Charles began his career in the financial services industry in 1994 at Charles Schwab & Co. His employment spanned over 15 years at the firm, including the six years reviewing and communicating daily economic and financial events to the public and the firm's client base of over seven million. Charles has written extensively about the financial markets, both domestically and globally. He has provided extensive commentary and analysis in his role as the author of the highly rated Schwab Market Update, an all-encompassing, deadline-driven summary of daily market and economic events that influence domestic and global markets. Additionally, he worked closely with the company's client base for almost seven years, earning numerous awards for excellence in client services. Prior to embarking on his career at one of the nation's leading brokerage firms, Charles earned a MS in finance and a BS in economics from Louisiana State University. He currently authors the blog, Tomorrow's Economy Today, and is owner and founder of Financial Jumble, LLC.
